Our podcast is dedicated to showcasing the strengths and opportunities within Western Australia's business and industry sectors, including the Western Trade Coast. We aim to cover topics that resonate with our audience, who include professionals from industry, business, government, investment, and trade across WA.

Many of our listeners are also tuning in from outside WA, with around 60% located elsewhere. While they may not have visited WA, they recognise the potential here. Please ensure your discussion is relevant to both local and external listeners, and be prepared to introduce your organisation for those who may not be familiar with it.

You will have Opportunity to provide a call to action to listeners as well as promote your current project.

Terms and Conditions for Guest Appearances on The Powerhouse Podcast

Thank you for your interest in appearing as a guest on The Powerhouse Podcast. To ensure clarity and a smooth process, the following terms and conditions apply to all guest appearances:

1. Application Process

Submitting an application or expressing interest to appear on The Powerhouse Podcast does not guarantee approval. All applications are reviewed, and guests are selected based on their relevance to the podcast’s themes, audience interests, and current programming needs.

2. Editing Rights

The Powerhouse Podcast reserves the right to edit all recorded content at its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, trimming, reordering, or omitting parts of the conversation to ensure quality, coherence, and adherence to the podcast’s standards.

3. Publication Timing

The publication date of an episode featuring your appearance is determined solely by The Powerhouse Podcast. While we may consider specific date requests, they are not guaranteed. Typically, there is a 4-week lead time from recording to publication.

4. Content Approval

If we determine that the opinions, points of view, or content shared during the recording are detrimental to the reputation of the podcast, its audience, or affiliated organisations, The Powerhouse Podcast reserves the right to withhold or cancel publication of the episode.

5. Ownership and Use of Content

By participating in the podcast, you grant The Powerhouse Podcast the right to use, reproduce, and distribute the recorded material for promotional, marketing, and distribution purposes. Ownership of the final edited episode remains with The Powerhouse Podcast.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

•Attend the scheduled recording session promptly.

•Provide accurate and truthful information during the discussion.

•Notify the host or producer immediately of any restrictions or sensitive topics.

7. Representation

The views and opinions shared by guests during their appearance are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Powerhouse Podcast or its affiliates.

8. Termination of Agreement

The Powerhouse Podcast reserves the right to cancel or postpone a scheduled guest appearance at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, scheduling conflicts, content suitability, or unforeseen circumstances.

9. Confidentiality

Guests must not disclose unpublished details of the episode or podcast strategy without prior consent from The Powerhouse Podcast.

10. Promotion of the Episode

Guests are encouraged to promote their episode on their own platforms, including social media, blogs, or websites. When doing so, please credit The Powerhouse Podcast and use provided promotional materials where available.

11. Pre-Approval of Topics

While guests may suggest topics for discussion, the final content and structure of the episode are determined solely by The Powerhouse Podcast to ensure relevance and quality.
